LandLand is a soft topographic landscape, with warm mountains to hide beneath. With cities that wake up when you fall asleep, and hills where to rest. It's a set of kidult low furniture whose function is to create a cozy and restful space in your home. LandLand aims to add a little bit of imagination to those lazy sunday mornings and nights without plans.
The project is based on the idea of achieving three-dimesionality through flat textile surfaces. Taking as a reference the world of topography and maps.
LandLand is a handmade textile furniture that consists in a rolling padded wool map where you can lie on, with stitches that glow in the dark. And a set of soft relief blanket and cushions inspired by a mountain scenery. It also contains wooden supports to store the textile pieces and a small mobile lamp that can either hang from the structure or stand on the floor. The set is adaptable to all needs and spaces changing from a bench to a floor mattress (4m length). LandLand is made of Kvadrat felt and pine wood.
